Amiatex

Before Amiatex, I managed several PrestaShop stores. Each had its own administration, imports, and set of customisations. Whenever something needed to be developed or changed, I had to repeat the same process for every individual store.

What gradually bothered me most was switching between administrations and duplicating work. I imported the same products in several places, images were needlessly stored more than once, and every new feature had to be manually added to each store separately.

That experience led me to start building a custom multistore platform. I wanted multiple stores to work from one central administration: one import for shared products, one source of images, and one overview instead of several disconnected systems.

At the same time, each store could remain its own business. It was possible to configure margins, descriptions, translations, countries, currencies, and shipping prices separately — without copying everything and maintaining it several times.

Amiatex was not just another e-commerce system for me. It was a way to simplify everyday work and give further development a common foundation: make a change once and apply it wherever it belongs.
